Here's the first of two panning images I created, trying to cover the fantastic vista provided by the hill above and behind the castle at Neuschwanstein. This image was created by stitching together about 3 separate images. By scrolling side to side, you can at least get something of an impression of what it was like to see this. My original goal was to make a wider sweep, but because of the big change in horizon (mountains on the left, low-lands on the right) it didn't work out that way. I've got similar panning views, as seen from the Eiffel Tower, and from the Pantheon (both in Paris).
