In many ways, this structure is almost as impressive as the Eiffel Tower.  To get an impression of how big it is, look at the size of the people standing at the base of it.

We have generally low tolerance for lines.  :-)

One nice touch is that this the Arc de Triomphe is home to the French Version of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
