Plants & Flowers

Not much commentary needed here. There were wildflowers and thistle bushes all over during our hike, and John enjoyed the opportunity to play more with his camera.

There were long sections of the hikes where we'd have to have our legs brush along stuff like this.


Holly! Make no mistake, those leaves are pointy!
This is the only of clover we saw during the entire hike.




Although this is a pretty lame example, there were blackberries EVERYWHERE. We saw bushes 8 feet tall. We'd go along patches that were hundreds of yards long. Some of the berries were as big around as your thumb.
