This trip took months to plan, and it seemed like it was over in just a blink (often the case with vacations).  These pages are a condensation of what we did over the course of 10 days, including the travel on both ends of the trip.  We left home on the morning of August 22'nd, and returned late on the evening of the 31st.

These pages were created to help us remember and share; nothing more.

There were two parts to the trip...

  •  ... several days of hiking around the Kerry way (the primary reason for our going)

  •  ... a couple of days relaxing and poking around Dublin

Feel free to browse what's here as you see fit.
Use the links at the top of every page as your guide.

All in all, we covered about 63 miles of terrain with 5 days of hiking; pretty impressive by our measure, and we could probably have handled another couple of days.  We left wanting to go back and seeing more.  All successful vacations should end that way.

Ireland is a beautiful, mystical place, filled with kind and friendly people.  We hope you enjoy these pages as much as we enjoyed our trip.
